Alexandra Farrington B.Sc.(Hons) MRICS

Alex was trained in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and has over 20 years of property experience specialising in commercial acquisitions and disposals, valuations, landlord & tenant and development appraisals.

Alex arrived in the Cayman Islands in 1997 and sold real estate for a number of years before returning to England. There she concentrated on commercial property primarily as retained agent for a number of national retailers in the U.K and private developers, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2003

Since returning to Cayman in 2005, she has focused on residential and commercial valuations of both freehold and leasehold interests. Alex is a member of the RICS Cayman events committee, hosts of the bi-annual Cayman Property and Construction Conference and a former member of the RICS Cayman Chapter Board.

Nigel Bates B.Sc. MRICS
Chartered General Practice Surveyor.

Nigel has almost 40 years of professional experience working in both the private and public sectors in the UK and overseas specialising in the acquisition and disposal of commercial and residential property, commercial leasing and hotel and resort valuations.

He also has experience in compulsory acquisition and compensation and drafting and negotiating property related documentation and transactions.

Nigel has been in the Cayman Islands since 2002 and prior to joining Quayside he was Director of Estates at Dart Real Estate and Chief Valuation Officer with the Lands and Survey Department.

Nigel was Chair of the RICS Cayman Chapter Board from 2013 to 2017 and is a former member of the RICS Cayman events committee.

David Greener B.Sc. FRICS
Chartered Quantity Surveyor.

Originally from the North East of England, Dave studied and subsequently worked in London for 13 years as lead surveyor on many high profile construction projects for numerous international clients, albeit with particular emphasis working with Philips Electronics on their extensive property portfolio throughout the UK.

Moving to Cayman in 1995, Dave started with BCQS for several years before joining JEC Property Consultants as a director/partner up until 2018. He has diverse experience in quantity surveying and project management on all types and sizes of construction throughout the Islands, as well as insurance valuation and loss adjusting, having been team leader in adjusting major losses incurred during Hurricane Ivan that devastated Grand Cayman in 2004.

Dave has recently been involved in the project management of two Seven Mile Beach hotel renovations and was instrumental in successfully negotiating the largest Government office project to date for the administration building on Elgin Avenue.

As a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Dave has previously assisted trainee surveyors as a mentor in helping them achieve their professional qualifications and continues to take an active role within the organisation.
